El Manual del Kit de Ciencia en lo Cotidian was a low-cost teaching resource for schools without laboratories. Its aim was to promote scientific research and technology in the country's public education sector, based on a vision that encompasses teaching and learning applied to real life, within the framework of the STI approach (Science, Technology, and Innovation).
Our work on this project was to diagram, illustrate, and vectorize each of the exercises contained in the Everyday Science Kit manual. We made each experiment visually appealing to students and clarified the texts for better understanding, illustrating the step-by-step process that students had to follow.
For two and a half years, I was part of the Design and Development team at Periódico Digital El Faro (El Salvador and Costa Rica). One of my responsibilities within the department was to create covers for special reports and infographics for social media based on research conducted by the newspaper's reporters. I was also in charge of creating covers for publications in audio or video format.
